Very Recently due to insistence from our Customers, Trident is planning to get in the range of offering Major Overhauling parts for Cummins engines. To cover the entire range of parts alongwith our core manufacturing and supplying of the Complete Range of New replacement Fuel Injection parts.

Trident at presents offers Major Overhauling In-frame Kits for NH series engines. An In-Frame kit consists of.

  • Pistons
  • Liners
  • Ring Sets
  • Engine Valves & Valve seats
  • Main Bearing & Con Rod Bearings along with our Made thrust washers.
  • Upper & Lower Gasket sets for the engine.
  • Roller Pins & Rollers
  • Oil Seals
  • Wear Sleeves. A combination of all these is an In-frame Kit which an Engine Rebuilder requires to service the complete engine.

    The difference between our Kit parts and the other loose parts offered by various dealers currently is our vast manufacturing base, quality control checking for these parts for every critical dimension and in-depth parts knowledge for various Control Parts List depending on the engine series. Which makes us possible to offer the correct Kit for the customer’s engine.

    The In Frame kit also makes it very convenient for the engine rebuilder to have all the required parts for overhauling under 1 single packing and most importantly under 1 single brand name of Trident which assures quality. So as he does not need to go for other overhauling parts to other dealers and thus avoiding failures in the engine due to using other cheap quality parts alongwith our offered parts.
  • Click for Larger Image For quality checking example every piston is subject to individual inspection for “Crowning”, which ensures lubrication during high working temperatures. Parallelism, Concentricity of piston pin bore and piston pin bore ID. Grooves sizes for piston rings. Surface finish is checked on a surface tester. Also 1 piston is destroyed in every lot and results of metallurgy are taken on a Spectro meter for material composition & hardness.
    Liners are inspected for Bore Id on air gauges, Surface finish is checked on surface tester and the same procedure for metallurgy testing is followed as for the pistons.

    Various other inspection procedures are followed for various parts like checking gaskets for thickness size and center distances of holes on gaskets for fitment. Checking Inner diameter sizes & surface finish for rollers. Dimensions and metallurgy for piston ring sets etc.

    These quality control measures with our equipments assure us that we follow the same quality control inspection system as done by OEM. Thus when our engine parts work in an engine they meet or even exceed OEM Parts specifications.
